Surround yourself with the serenity and beauty of the Wisconsin North woods and
save on driving time. Knight Lake is a secluded, 14-acre spring-fed, glacial lake
nestled deep in old growth Hemlocks and pines in southeast Lincoln County. Just
30 minutes north of Wausau, it offers easy access to the hidden treasures of the
Merrill and Tomahawk area.
Motivated by the desire to preserve and share the gift of this special place, owners
Mark and Irene Mehlos have lovingly updated and restored two lakeside cabins built
in the 1940's and 50's with ecology and comfort in mind. Here you'll discover a
peaceful place to unwind, have a romantic get-away or reconnect with family and
nature. Fish for bass, northern or pan fish. Rentals include private dock and rowboat (canoe or
paddle boat also available). Note: trolling motors allowed only --no wake lake.
We offer weekly seasonal rentals from Friday to Friday from May into September. Weekend
rentals are offered in Fall and at other times based on availability. Contact us for special
rates if you are interested in renting by the month or summer season. For details, click on cabin
page links (above left).
